2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R Yoshimura R-77 Exhausts

2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R Yoshimura R-77 Exhausts

New items designed specifically for the 2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R.These consist of a host of applications for R-77 and all-new R-77D that will be available in a number of configurations.According to Yoshimura, the R-77 was designed with racetrack feedback from AMA Superbike racers Tommy Hayden and Blake Young, which says a lot about the performances of these exhausts.

With a straight baffle and removable low-volume insert, the R-77 muffler's front cap is MIG-welded, while the end cap is riveted using high-end 304-L polished stainless steel rivets and bands. Offering in a trapezoidal shape, the muffler comes in stainless steel, titanium, or race-inspired carbon fiber.

The R-77 comes as a slip-on muffler, which attaches simply onto the stock exhaust mounting slip-fit, or on various full Yoshimura exhaust systems. The cone end caps come in either polished stainless steel or carbon fiber and the slip-on itself is mounted with a stainless steel mounting clamp.

A dual-outlet version of the race-proven R-77, the R-77D boasts a carbon fiber cone end cap and polished stainless steel dual outlet turndown.

The R-77D requires no inserts or restrictions, increasing muffler packing life, and provides 5-percent more open exhaust outlet area and as much as 3 decibels lower sound output (compared to open standard R77). The R-77D also offers greater gains in bottom and mid range power without restrictive inserts.

2011 Kawasaki Z750R Gets Rizoma Styling Kit

2011 Kawasaki Z750R Gets Rizoma Styling Kit

The newly launched middleweight streetfighter machine from Kawasaki, the Z750R, now benefits from a new aftermarket styling kit from Rizoma, thanks to an official partnership between the two companies that started a few months ago.

Specifically, the project lasted 120 days, side by side, in total secret, and has enabled Kawasaki to fine tune the new Z750R, while Rizoma’s R&D team developed the bike’s Styling Kit.

The aftermarket component manufacturer was therefore able to develop special custom parts, with maximum compatibility for the new naked bike.

“One of the most high visual impact parts is the engine fairing, which mirrors the profile and inclination of the front cowling, thus making the bike even more aggressive looking. And other parts, like the rearset controls, certainly won’t fail to make their mark. The principal material is aluminum machined from billet. The overall effect is one of clean styling, an unbeatable statement,” a statement from Rizoma reads.

Together with the special products for this motorcycle, customers can also choose from a range of mirrors, direction indicators, handles and many other accessories.

The Styling Kit is available both from Kawasaki’s European showrooms, which can deliver the motorcycle ready equipped, or from Rizoma retailers, where you can complement it with the other accessories for the new Z750 from the company’s catalogue.

The 2011 Kawasaki Z750R is powered by a 748cc inline four cylinder, liquid cooled, DOHC engine with digital fuel injection, developing 106 hp and 72 to 78 Nm (53 to 57 lb-ft) of torque. That is enough to propel the 195kg bike to a top speed of 149 mph (240 km/h).

The bike comes with new improved chassis with fully adjustable front forks, revised rear shock on a new aluminum swing arm, radial front brakes with braided lines and ABS as an option.

Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Kawasaki has also launched a video of the new middleweight streetfighter machine. Kawasaki is, in fact, offering a 360-degree view of the machine which comes as a sportier variant of the existing Z750 model.

The ‘R’ version comes with new brakes and exhaust system, though the engine remains unchanged. With a 748cc engine delivering 106 PS and superior handling, the Z750R is expected to appeal mostly European customers.

Coming as a competitive alternative to the Yamaha FZ8 and Triumph Street Triple, and as a cheaper choice compared with the ZX-6R, the 2011 Kawasaki Z750R has already aroused interest among two-wheeled fans.

The naked bike comes with a newly improved chassis with fully adjustable front forks, revised rear shock on a new aluminium swing arm, radial front brakes with braded lines and ABS as an option. Some styling tweaks have been made, such as the nose cone, indicators and footpegs.

Limited edition colors (Candy Lime Green and Flat Ebony) and revised clocks are also featured. Handlebar ends and ergonomics have also been revised. Ninja-style 6-spoke front wheel with reinforced rim contribute to the chassis balance, while the Dunlop 210 tires are meant to enhance handling.

The new bike with a raft of planned genuine accessories will be supported by Kawasaki which includes a Kawasaki Akrapovic slip-on silencer.

In October, the bike will be seen at the Intermot exhibition in Cologne and after that at the Carole Nash Motorcycle Live event in the UK in November. During the same month it is expected to be presented at the 2010 EICMA show in Milan.

The presentation of the new bike and riders comes just before the German round of The World Superbike Championship, which will take place at the Nürburgring race track this weekend. The unveiling of the new Ninja ZX-10R will mark a new start for Kawasaki in the World Superbike Championship. From 2011, the Kawasaki World Superbike Racing Team will receive more means and more support from the mother company in Japan.

Since 2009, the Kawasaki Superbike Racing Team have evolved and restructured continuously in order to be in a position to utilise the new bike’s potential to the maximum next season.

The initial race team bikes themselves will be full factory bikes, built and sent to the team from Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) in Japan. The bike is unveiled only now, as Kawasaki starts the European testing trajectory.

Competing in the World Superbike Championship with the all new Ninja ZX-10R will show and expose Kawasaki at the highest level of motorcycle racing. Kawasaki W800 Bonneville-rival is real

Kawasaki W800Kawasaki W800

The bike will be called the W800 and feature a largely similar chassis, but feature a disc brake at the rear and power hiked to match Triumph’s own modern-day Bonneville, at around 60bhp.Kawasaki is about to reveal a bigger replacement for the defunct W650 Triumph Bonneville replica, confirming internet speculation.

Kawasaki’s original W650 was popular with customisers, especially in Japan, but it was always hampered by its authentically flat 49bhp parallel twin motor.

If Kawasaki keeps a lid on the price, the W800 should give the reborn Bonneville serious competition – the W650 was widely praised for out-retroing the Hinckley bike until it was discontinued in 2006.

2011 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R

After a first teaser image unveiled at the end of June, Kawasaki unveiled today the first official image of the 2011 Ninja ZX-10R race bike. The motorcycle is preparing for a 2-day test at the Suzuka race track in Japan where the bike will prepare for the 2011 World Superbike Championship. A road-going version based on this model will also be unveiled at a later date. It is rumored to come with a more aggressive look, a completely restyled fairing and exhaust, new chassis and new engine that will deliver more than 200 HP. Road going model will feature the usual green ninja paint scheme as with all the previous Ninja models.
However when launched the new ZX-10R will have strong competition on the market (Yamaha YZF-R1, Honda CBR-1000RR, and also the Suzuki GSX-R 1000) so is no wonder that Kawasaki will do its best to improve their motorcycle as much as possible.

Hopefully, more information will be released as the anticipation builds up for Kawasaki’s new Ninja ZX-10R. But for right now, you can visit the 2011 Ninja ZX-10R’s website by clicking here and wait for it to load; or simply see the design sketch and then watch the video below. Enjoy!

Kawasaki ZX-10R Performance Edition - 2010

Kawasaki ZX-10R Performance Edition - 2010Kawasaki ZX-10R Performance Edition - 2010

The new host of extras that make up the Kawasaki ZX-10R Performance Edition are all official Kawasaki accessories and come with a two-year guarantee.
The Kawasaki ZX10R was changed quite dramatically in 2008, for 2010 ther have been a few further modifications in a bid to perfect this already formidable machine. Its track performance being the main focus. Without any loss of low and mid range performance this all new Kawasaki ZX10R got more top end power than ever before - essentially this is a race ready engine.
Kawasaki ZX-10R Performance Edition gets Akrapovic silencer along with double bubble screen, colour coded seat cowl, mini front indicators, plus tank and knee pads, The silencer gives the ZX-10R a 5bhp power gain.

Kawasaki have designed a type of traction control on this model of the ZX10R that greatly aids grip when slightly too much throttle has been applied by retarding ignition whilst still allowing more experienced and demanding riders the option of allowing the bike to move under them.

The ZX10R comes atandard with a slipper clutch that also works superbly well.

The addition of secondary injectors to feed th ZX10R Power plant that are situated in the new oval inlet tract are there to ensure better throttle response particularly in the high rpm. areas whilst also improving the smooth low end power delivery.

The Speedo/Clock Cluster of the Kawasaki ZX10R has been designed in such a way that rider focus stays longer distance when glancing at the speedo thus ensuring that more time is spent focused on the road.

An adjustable Öhlins cross mounted steering damper with twin-tube design is fitted as standard equipment. The second tube, which acts like a reservoir tank, and the damper internals, ensure stable damping performance even under racing conditions. This race-quality unit was developed in collaboration with Öhlins specially for the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R.

The major hurdle that faced the design team was to deliver as chassis on the Kawasaki ZX10R that gave the rider every bit of feedback that was required to make this machine a race winner. With this in mind, the services of top level racers were employed to test and retest the machine throughout its development.

It is not often that we see this, but the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is fitted as standard with a hugger that closely follows the rear wheel's lines and protects the rear shock from dirt and debris. Further colour coded options as well as colour coded pillion seat covers are available from the range of accessories that Kawasaki offer for the Ninja ZX10R.
